Clinical Yoga

“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”

- Jason Crandell

As a Chartered Physiotherapist, I’m trained to assess clients and prescribe exercises but I know that traditional exercises do not suit everyone.

Clinical Yoga allows me to use my training as a Chartered Physiotherapist combined with my experience as a Yoga teacher to create an individualized Yoga program to meet your specific needs.

The benefit of a Clinical Yoga session is that you are in the hands of a trained healthcare professional and a Yoga teacher with over 14 years of teaching experience. I am one of only a handful of teachers in Ireland that can offer this.

This qualifies me to work with a wide range of clients ranging from those recovering from a musculoskeletal injury to those managing a more chronic health challenge such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, or recovering from Stroke or Cancer.

“Clinical Yoga is the perfect opportunity to address a physical limitation or concern and start Yoga.”

In fact if you have ever wanted to try Yoga but feel that a studio environment is not for you due to a limitation or physical concern - Clinical Yoga is the perfect opportunity to address that concern and start Yoga.

It is equally beneficial to ladies looking to return to the movement (prenatal or antenatal Yoga) who would feel more confident to do so with guidance (I have a special interest in recovery post-diastasis-rectus).

“Clinical Yoga involves a Physiotherapy assessment.”

A Clinical Yoga session is 60 minutes long and involves a Physiotherapy assessment during which we discuss your needs.

I then work in collaboration with you to create individualised goals before creating a Yoga practice to help you meet those goals.

Clinical Yoga Appointments are €80 and based in Dublin 3

“Think of it as Yoga for everybody. All bodies welcome!”

This individualized Yoga practice will involve all the same Yoga postures that you would typically experience in a Yoga class, however, the postures selected as well as how they are practiced, are specific to your needs.
